My husband and I left this restaurant shocked. Here is why...first, we were looking for a new diner that would be a hole in the wall and has both Mexican and American options. We can both confidently say that this restaurant had both.
Service was so-so, the place was in dire need to cleaning...new carpets...new chairs and tables...just was very old and dirty. You could see the marks on the floor like a black trail of where people walk. Sorry, but this is pretty gross.
When we got to the point where we paid our bill, the price seemed right. I got my card out and on the counter...was a live...crawling....cockroach. I have not returned. -

The huevos Garcia is my favorite! I'm going to try the chili rellenos next time. There are a select items you can order and a half order for those that prefer s smaller meal. The kids breakfast was surprisingly big! The coffee is excellent... the service is fast and friendly... a post definite recommend!

Parkway Cafe is your typical small town diner. I dropped by on a Sunday morning with a small group of people.
They have limited vegetarian breakfast options. In fact, the only items on the menu I found I could eat was an omelet and pancakes or French toast. I ordered the number 3 omelet with French toast and a biscuit on the side. None of my food had any seasoning and the biscuit was under baked.
The people I was with enjoyed their food more than I. As a vegetarian, my experience was underwhelming. This cafe may not be the best option for people with dietary restrictions but I'm sure all others might enjoy. -

I'd stick to a traditional breakfast here. I tried a sandwich today. After calling in a Reuben, the restaurant called back to tell me they took it off the menu. I opted for the Philly and it was very small with not much between the bread.
I let them know and the staff made sure that I was taken care of when I came back, which is really appreciated.
